EagernessYour private
voice AI.
Talk out loud about anything. Eagerness listens, thinks and answers in a warm, natural voice, and it runs entirely offline on your Mac. No cloud. No account. Nothing you say ever leaves it.
Of course. Let's take it one thing at a time. What's on your mind first?
Choose a voice
Four voices, each with a personality.
Pick who you'd like to talk to, and switch anytime. Tap play to hear each one.
Ava
Warm, playful and always glad to hear from you.
Leo
Warm, easygoing and a great listener.
Mia
Confident, funny and honest.
Max
Confident, witty and up for anything.
Talk, the way you talk
A conversation, not a chat box.
Just speak. It answers right away in a voice with real warmth, and you can cut in whenever you like, the way you would with a person.
Hands-free
Open it and talk. It hears when you start and stop, and stops to listen the moment you interrupt.
Voices with feeling
On Macs with 16 GB or more, its voice laughs, sighs and drops to a whisper when the moment calls for it.
It remembers you
The things that matter to you carry over from one conversation to the next.
Captions on request
Read along as it speaks, type instead of talking, or turn the words off and just listen.
Private by design
It never leaves your Mac.
Most voice assistants send every word to someone else's servers. Eagerness does all of its listening, thinking and speaking on your Mac.
On-device AI
The AI lives on your Mac. Your voice and your words are never uploaded, so there's nothing for anyone to read.
No internet access
The app itself can't go online. A small separate helper downloads its AI and checks for updates, and never sees a conversation.
No account, no tracking
No sign-up, no analytics, no ads. We never see what you talk about.
Encrypted memory
What it remembers is stored encrypted on your Mac, and one click in Settings erases it.
Made for your Mac
An AI sized for your Mac.
Eagerness comes with a family of AI brains. It recommends the best one for your Mac's memory and downloads it once.
| Brain | Mac memory | Download | Feels |
|---|---|---|---|
| Velvet 8 | 8 GB | 3.7 GB | Light and quick |
| Velvet 16 | 16 GB | 5.8 GB | Warmer and sharper |
| Velvet 24 | 24 GB | 9.3 GB | Deeper conversations |
| Velvet 32 | 32 GB | 18.6 GB | Smart and fast |
| Velvet 48 | 48 GB or more | 20.6 GB | The deepest, a little slower |
Bigger Macs can run the smaller brains too. Switch brains anytime in Settings.

Questions
Good to know.
Which Macs does it run on?
Macs with Apple silicon (M1 or later) running macOS 14 or later, with 8 GB of memory or more. The brain needs between 4 and 21 GB of free disk space, depending on which one fits your Mac.
Does it need the internet?
Only to download its brain, once. After that it works fully offline, on a plane or anywhere else. When you are online, it also checks whether a new version is out.
Can you see my conversations?
No. Everything happens on your Mac. We never receive your voice, your words or what it remembers, and the app itself has no internet access.
What language does it speak?
English, for now.
Can I use one license on two Macs?
A license is for one Mac. When you get a new Mac, write to us from the email you bought with and we'll move your license to it, free.
Where can I buy it?
In the US and most other countries. Licenses aren't on sale yet in the EU, the UK, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland or Liechtenstein, though the free trial works everywhere.
What if it's not for me?
Write to us within 14 days of buying and we'll refund you in full.
Who is it for?
Adults. You must be 18 or older to use Eagerness.
